Dear CSI Members,

I want to thank Shawn Lessor and Lane Young of O’Connell Electric for enlightening us

about Alternative Energy Sources: Solar and Wind. They showed us that these alternative energy sources are no longer futuristic type things, but are already part of the current technology being used in new construction.

For the first time in recent memory we will not be having an April meting. However, we will be having two events in May. On May 20^th CSI & CFMA will have a joint tour of the renovated Eastman Theater, dinner to follow. On Friday May 21^st we will be having our annual Awards Dinner. This year’s dinner will be at Oak Hill CC and should be an outstanding event. Please make plans to attend this event, it is usually the highlight of the year. We recognize not only outstanding construction projects but also the members of our chapter who help us to make our chapter the envoy of the North East Region.

I am very proud of the variety of meetings we have had this year and would like to thank all who participated. The quality of the presentations at our meetings is a primary reason for our chapter’s success. With that in mind, I would like to extent an invitation to each of you let either Pam Marcotte or myself know of any topics you would like us present next year.
